Terms Of Service
AlphaDog Hosting Terms Of Service
You (referred to as the “Customer,” “You,” or “Your”) agree that by purchasing any Service (as defined below) from AlphaDog Hosting (referred to as “AlphaDog Hosting,” “Our,” “Us,” or “We”) through our websites at www.alphadoghosting.com or my.alphadoghosting.com (collectively referred to as the “Sites”), You are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below, as well as our:
(Collectively referred to as the “Terms of Service“). By using AlphaDog Hosting’s products or services, either directly or indirectly (including through a reseller or affiliate), You acknowledge and accept these Terms of Service.
Order Placement, Verification, and Service Provisioning:
AlphaDog Hosting agrees to provide the Services you purchased (referred to as the “Ordered Services”) upon our acceptance of your order placed on our Site (referred to as the “Order”) and upon receipt of the applicable initial payment (referred to as the “Acceptance Date”).
AlphaDog Hosting reserves the right to conduct fraud checks on received Orders using one or more third-party anti-fraud verification systems. We also reserve the right to place an Order on hold (and not provide the requested Services) pending further notice, or to cancel it altogether, if we or our agents determine or suspect the Order to be illegitimate or fraudulent. In such cases, we may contact you via the registered email address you have on file for further verification and clarification.
In certain cases, we may require additional verification to approve your Order. This could include:
Verifying PayPal account ownership
A photocopy of the credit card used
One or more government-issued identification documents to match the name and address provided during the Order process, as well as your payment and billing details on file.
Failure to comply with any such verification request will result in non-acceptance of your Order.
Please note that Order verification and service provisioning may take anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours from the time we receive your Order. Upon the Acceptance Date, we will set up your account, and you will be granted the right to use the Ordered Services. If applicable, you may also initiate the transition process from your current provider (refer to “Transfers/Account Migration” below).
It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is accurate and up to date. All communications from AlphaDog Hosting will be sent to the primary email address you have on file. During sign-up, you agree not to provide a contact email address that is not yet activated or associated with your primary domain. If your primary email fails verification, your Order may be rejected, or your account may be terminated.
To ensure the receipt of all communications from AlphaDog Hosting, you must whitelist the @alphadoghosting.com domain and enable receipt of all emails from us in your email client software and/or anti-spam filters. You are also responsible for regularly checking your “Spam” or “Junk” email folders for messages from AlphaDog Hosting.
Payment, Usage, and Security Terms:
AlphaDog Hosting accepts payments in USD, CAD, GBP, and Cryptocurrency. Customers opting for CAD billing must have a valid Canadian billing and mailing address registered with us. All customers with a Canadian address are required to pay applicable taxes.
Continued use of your Ordered Services is contingent upon the timely payment of fees and compliance with all Terms of Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the security of the login credentials used to access your Ordered Services on our Sites at all times.
You agree not to violate any laws in Ontario, Canada, or other relevant jurisdictions while using the Ordered Services.
You are responsible for the actions of your users, and this responsibility persists even after the cancellation or termination of your Ordered Services.
We reserve the right to impose usage limits on your account. For cPanel Hosting customers, additional restrictions apply, including resource usage limits and prohibitions on certain activities, such as running game servers or engaging in file-sharing/peer-to-peer activities.
For cPanel Hosting customers, the allocated disk space is designated solely for storing web files, active emails, and content directly related to website services. The use of allocated disk space for storage purposes, such as for media files, backup data, or non-website-related content, is prohibited. AlphaDog Hosting explicitly reserves the right to review any hosting account under your Ordered Services to ensure compliance with this provision.
The total disk space advertised includes the storage of operating system files and all necessary software tools required for the efficient management and security of your Ordered Services.
Reselling our Services is strictly prohibited unless you have a Reseller Hosting account with us (see the ‘Resellers – cPanel Hosting’ section below for details).
Backup and Restore:
We perform backups solely for disaster recovery purposes, and, as a courtesy, we make those backups available to our customers where applicable.
As a cPanel Hosting customer, you may create a custom or ad-hoc backup using the built-in cPanel backup tool. Any backups stored on our servers will count toward the allocated disk space for your Ordered Services. You can restore available backups through your cPanel control panel or by opening a support ticket for assistance.
While we make reasonable efforts to maintain backup integrity and reliability, we do not guarantee the timing or success of any backup restoration. We will aim to restore backups within 24 hours of receiving your request.
For all Ordered Services, backups will not be provided for accounts that have been suspended or terminated, unless otherwise agreed upon by AlphaDog Hosting. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for account restoration.
Regardless of the Services you purchased, we strongly advise you to maintain your own data backups. We are not responsible for any data residing under your account. You agree to take full responsibility for all files and data stored under your account, and to keep your own local backup copy.
If you have requested us to obtain a domain name for you, the associated fee, as stated in your Order, will be charged. We do not guarantee the availability of the requested domain name. You are responsible for transferring, registering, renewing, and/or maintaining all domain names used in connection with your Ordered Services.
We provide free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates where applicable. You may request and pay for us to obtain a commercially available SSL certificate on your behalf. We reserve the right to revoke or refuse an SSL certificate without prior notice and may provide an equivalent SSL certificate if the requested one is unavailable. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding such certificates and do not provide technical support beyond the initial installation.
If you have requested a dedicated IP address, the associated fee stated in your Order will be charged. If an IP address assigned to your Ordered Services becomes blacklisted or blocked, you will be charged a penalty/administration fee of US$50.
Upon cancellation of your Ordered Services, you must return all IP addresses issued by AlphaDog Hosting.
You are responsible for ensuring that scripts or programs under your Ordered Services are secure and that directories have appropriate permissions. You are ultimately responsible for all actions under your account, including any compromise of credentials. It is imperative to use a secure password; failure to do so may result in account suspension until a more secure password is adopted.
We reserve the right, with or without notice, to disable or delete any scripts or programs that send or receive large volumes of emails on our network or servers. Continued email abuse may result in the immediate suspension of your account if we suspect such activities.
Resellers – cPanel Hosting:
If you have established a cPanel “Reseller Hosting” account with us, you are referred to herein as a “Reseller”. In addition to the other Terms of Service, the following provisions apply to your cPanel Hosting service:
Reselling Services:
Reselling our cPanel Hosting service is permitted only through a Reseller account with us. No other service offered by us may be resold by a Reseller.
Reseller Responsibilities:
As a Reseller, you assume all legal and financial obligations to your customers and are accountable for all sub-accounts created under your account. Our services are provided to you, not directly to your customers.
Content and Actions Responsibility:
As a Reseller, you are legally responsible for all content stored or transmitted by your customers, and for the actions of your customers, employees, agents, contractors, or any other individuals with access to your ordered services, as if such actions were undertaken by you directly.
Monitoring Sub-Accounts:
You are responsible for monitoring all resold accounts or customers’ sub-accounts to ensure compliance with these Terms of Service.
Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold AlphaDog Hosting harmless from any losses, damages, or liabilities incurred by us due to your use of your ordered services, if it adversely affects your customers and results in a claim against us.
Billing System License (WHMCS):
The WHMCS billing system license provided by AlphaDog Hosting to cPanel Hosting Resellers is non-transferable and may only be used on servers owned and managed by AlphaDog Hosting. If we determine that a previously issued billing system license key has not been actively used or associated with any domain for more than 60 days from its original issuance date, we reserve the right to cancel the existing license key, with or without prior notice. If this occurs, you may contact us to obtain a replacement WHMCS license key.
Post-Cancellation:
This section remains effective following any cancellation or termination of your ordered services.
Transfers/Accounts Migration:
For cPanel hosting, the following conditions apply when requesting AlphaDog Hosting to transfer/migrate accounts from your previous hosting provider to our servers:
To transfer all your cPanel accounts, you must provide one of the following:
- Request your previous provider to generate a full backup of all your cPanel accounts and upload a single compressed file containing the individual backups.
- Alternatively, you may upload all individual cPanel backup files directly to our servers.
Free reseller cPanel transfers are only available if requested within 30 days of sign-up.
If you choose to provide us with login credentials to your previous hosting provider so we can generate and transfer backups on your behalf, AlphaDog Hosting is not liable for any consequences. You must also ensure there is sufficient free space on your previous provider’s server for the necessary backups.
If a full cPanel backup is not available, our support team can manually migrate your website and emails for an additional fee, which will be determined by our Sales and Billing team.
Migration Assistance:
Our team will make reasonable efforts to assist you in migrating your current services from other providers to your ordered services with us. However, we cannot guarantee the transfer process, and there may be circumstances where we are unable to assist in transferring your data from your previous provider.
Request Process:
For all ordered services, you must submit a transfer request by opening a support ticket at least 48 hours before the desired start of the account transfer/migration process. This advance notice allows us to plan and allocate resources for the migration tasks. The migration process can take anywhere from 1 to 48 hours, depending on the number of accounts and the size of the data being transferred.
Old Hosting Service:
You must keep your old hosting service active until all transfer/migration steps are completed and verified by you.
Urgent Transfers:
For immediate assistance or priority migration requests, our support team may accommodate your urgent request for an additional one-time service fee, which will be determined by our billing department.

Important:
For technical and billing issues, you must send the email from your primary registered and verified email address on file with us.
Emails sent from unverified email addresses to Technical Support or Billing may be disregarded. Our agents may instruct you to submit your request via the Client Area or Support Portal, potentially delaying the resolution process.
Support Eligibility:
Our services include end-user support solely for our direct customers. To access this support, adherence to the Support Ticket Procedure (outlined above) is mandatory. Failure to comply will result in support being withheld.
Support Delays and Violations:
AlphaDog Hosting reserves the right, at our discretion, to delay or withhold end-user support if you are in violation of any terms of service, including non-payment of fees.
Response Time:
While we endeavour to meet internal SLAs for support services through our Live Chat, Support Portal, or the Support Ticket Procedure, no specific response or resolution time is guaranteed. However, we aim to provide an initial response within 1 hour of receiving a support ticket.
Reseller Support:
cPanel Hosting Resellers are responsible for providing direct support to their customers. AlphaDog Hosting does not provide direct support to your customers. For security and privacy reasons, any support request must originate directly from you, our customer. You are responsible for the content and nature of any support replies provided to your clients.
Scope of Support:
Support Language:
Support is exclusively provided in English.
Customer Literacy Expectations:
You are expected to possess a reasonable level of computer literacy and an understanding of basic internet concepts, including but not limited to domain names, email, file transfer protocols, and DNS zones.
Basic Configuration and Troubleshooting:
Our support agents can assist with basic configuration and troubleshooting for commonly used software, including email clients (such as Microsoft Outlook), standard FTP programs, and similar applications.
Script/Applications Installation:
You are solely responsible for the installation and configuration of any scripts/applications running under your ordered services/account. Our support agents do not provide support for malfunctioning scripts/applications, and it is your responsibility to maintain the latest versions of any scripts/applications installed.
Software Configuration and Compatibility:
We retain the right to determine the installation, upgrading, or downgrading of software on our servers, including LiteSpeed Web Server, MariaDB, PHP, and other related tools. We also determine the versions and configurations of all installed software. Therefore, we do not guarantee the compatibility of your own software (including custom or third-party scripts/applications) with the software and services running on our servers.
Third-Party Software Support:
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting third-party applications fall outside the scope of support provided by AlphaDog Hosting.
Abuse of AlphaDog Hosting Staff, Support Personnel, and Support Ticket System
At AlphaDog Hosting, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and treating all clients with respect and professionalism. We expect the same level of courtesy in return.
If our staff encounters persistent abusive behaviour or disrespectful communication from you—including but not limited to rude or demeaning language, profanity, or personal insults—we reserve the right to suspend your account(s) and request that you seek services elsewhere. If service is terminated due to abusive conduct, you will receive five (5) days’ notice to find an alternative web host. No refunds will be issued.
Abusive conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Repeatedly addressing staff in a disrespectful or aggressive manner.
- Using profanity in any form of communication (e.g., email, chat, instant messages, text messages, or social media).
- Making derogatory or insulting remarks based on personal characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, or religion.
- Abusing the support ticket system by opening multiple tickets for the same issue within a short period, which may result in suspension or termination of services.
Promotional or Discount Coupon Codes:
Discount and coupon codes are applicable only to the specific services outlined in the respective AlphaDog Hosting promotion and cannot be applied to other services. These codes are valid only for the initial invoice and do not affect the renewal or recurring price of any service unless otherwise specified.
Discounts applied after a service has been purchased are not valid. Any downgrade, upgrade, or closure of a service for which a discount or coupon code was applied will void the discount.
These codes have no cash value and may not be transferred or used for future purchases, downgrades, upgrades, or modifications. Combining multiple coupon codes or offers for a single purchase is prohibited. Abuse of discount or coupon codes may result in account suspension, closure, or retroactive adjustments to charges. AlphaDog Hosting reserves the right to discontinue any discount code or promotion without notice, at any time, for any reason.
Termination/Cancellation, Refunds, Renewals, Fees, and Payments:
All published service fees on our website exclude applicable taxes. Taxes imposed by a government entity will be added to invoices unless you provide AlphaDog Hosting with a valid tax exemption certificate (as determined by us).
The date format used in our invoices and billing activities is YYYY-MM-DD.
Each service ordered from AlphaDog Hosting is provided on a billing cycle basis, as specified in your order. Starting from your acceptance date, the service automatically renews for successive periods until cancelled by either you or AlphaDog Hosting. Service fees are payable in advance for the upcoming month, quarter, semi-annual, or annual period, as applicable.
You can cancel any ordered service at any time according to these Terms of Service but will not be entitled to a refund for partial months. If you prepaid for a service at an annual rate and cancel before the renewal term ends, you may be eligible for a partial refund. If your ordered service qualifies for our 30-day money-back guarantee, you must explicitly request a refund via a billing ticket and submit a service cancellation request through our Client Area.
For monthly payments, you authorize us and our payment agent to automatically charge your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account on file on the monthly anniversary of your acceptance date, unless you cancel all services. For annual payments, references to “monthly” or “month” should be understood as “annually” or “annual.” If your acceptance date falls on the 29th, 30th, or 31st day of a month that doesn’t have those dates, your billing date will be the 31st day after your normal billing date.
Any processing or transaction fees will be deducted from any refunds.
You must request cancellation or termination through our “Client Area” at my.alphadoghosting.com. Cancellation or termination requests must be submitted at least 7 days before your next invoice is due.
No refunds, money-back guarantees, or credits are provided for:
Domain registrations or renewals
SSL certificates
Transfers (including cPanel and web services)
Custom Hosting
WHMCS licenses
cPanel/WHM licenses
- Optional add-ons
If your account accumulates debt, we may refer the details to a third-party debt collection company or sell your debt. If sold, an administration fee of up to US$100 may apply.
AlphaDog Hosting reserves the right to terminate any account or service at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms of Service.
A late fee of 5% of the invoiced amount may be charged for invoices overdue by more than 5 days. Services will be suspended if an invoice remains unpaid for more than 5 days. If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 30 days, your account and services will be terminated. Upon termination, all data, including backups, will be permanently deleted, and domain releases will not occur without full payment.
For charge discrepancies, please contact our billing department. Chargebacks may incur a minimum $25.00 reactivation fee, and your account may be suspended during dispute resolution.
This section remains in effect even after cancellation or termination.
Limited Conditional Money-Back Guarantee for cPanel Hosting Customers:
Our cPanel Hosting services include a limited conditional 30-day money-back guarantee, starting from the acceptance date of your cPanel Hosting service. After 30 days from your acceptance date, you are no longer eligible for this guarantee. You acknowledge that your account usage or requests for promotional items may affect the total refundable amount.
This money-back guarantee does not apply to:
Fees for domain name registrations, transfers, or renewals
Commercially obtained SSL certificates
Dedicated IP addresses
Optional add-ons, including fees for transfers/accounts migration or other professional services
If you cancel within 30 days and your plan includes a free domain, a non-refundable domain fee of $14.99 will be deducted from your refund to cover our costs and ensure retention of your domain name. Note: Newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar during the first 60 days of the registration period in accordance with the regulations established by ICANN (the domain regulatory body)
The Money-Back Guarantee does not apply to your ordered services if:
You have previously signed up for any service and used the guarantee (or any predecessor) for those services. For example, if you had an account with us in the past, cancelled it, and then signed up again, or if you opened a second account, you will not be eligible for our money-back guarantee.
You placed a cancellation request during the money-back guarantee period but did not explicitly request a refund via the cancellation request or by opening a ticket with us.
You requested free transfers/accounts migration from your old hosting provider to our servers.
You are a cPanel Hosting Reseller and requested a free billing system (WHMCS) license from us.
You are in breach of any of these Terms of Service.
You initiated an invalid chargeback instead of following the cancellation procedure.
Cryptocurrency Payments:
Cryptocurrency payments are immediately converted to USD at the current cryptocurrency exchange rate. In the event of refunds for services paid with cryptocurrency, the refund will be issued as account credit in USD, minus any gateway fees paid by AlphaDog Hosting on the initial transaction.
By making a payment with cryptocurrency, you agree and understand that AlphaDog Hosting will not reimburse you for any potential loss in cryptocurrency value.
Uptime Guarantee:
AlphaDog Hosting guarantees 99.9% network uptime (calculated on a calendar month basis) for its cPanel Hosting and Custom Hosting services.
If we fail to meet our uptime guarantee, the following service level credits will be applied to your account upon request, to be used as a credit toward future fees for the affected service. These credits have no cash value and are non-refundable. Service level credits apply only to your applicable base monthly fee for the related service covered by this uptime guarantee. They do not apply to fees for billing system licenses, SSL certificates, IP addresses, domain names, website migration, professional services, or any other optional add-ons.
For cPanel Hosting (Shared or Reseller), the following credits apply to the guarantee:
99.9% – 100%: 0% credit
99.7% – 99.8%: 10% credit
99.5% – 99.6%: 25% credit
99.3% – 99.4%: 50% credit
99.0% – 99.2%: 75% credit
98.9% and below: 100% credit
Uptime Determination and Exclusions:
Our systems and monitoring tools are used to determine the uptime of our services, and we retain the final authority in determining actual availability/uptime. Your use of any third-party monitoring tool will not be considered in any uptime guarantee claim.
The uptime guarantee does not cover network or server interruptions resulting from:
Regularly scheduled maintenance;
Denial of service (DoS or DDoS) attacks, brute-force attacks, or third-party hacking of our servers;
Infrastructure failure by our upstream service providers;
Issues related to your Internet connection;
Service suspension or termination due to billing-related issues;
Backbone peering point issues at our data center;
Force majeure events or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
Software bugs or flaws;
Acts or omissions of our customers.
In the event that your ordered service is subjected to any type of DoS or DDoS attack, we reserve the right to determine the duration of real-time DDoS mitigation/traffic scrubbing against such attacks. Additionally, at our sole discretion, we may null route one or more IP addresses associated with your ordered services to mitigate large-scale DDoS attacks.
To submit a claim under the uptime guarantee, you must open an ‘uptime guarantee’ support ticket using the support ticket procedure within 2 days of the end of the relevant month. Claims submitted after this 2-day deadline will not be eligible for the uptime guarantee.
